We use our village to showcase skills, provide inspiration, offer advice and build a strong community. We currently work with the following organisations within our local community:

Mad Leap 

Mad Leap grows food at Gainsborough. They support us with growing our own fruit and vegetables for the school kitchen and have helped us develop the school sustainability curriculum. 

The Yard Theatre

We have worked with the Yard for 10 years. We run weekly drama sessions together, making the most of the skills and talents of our local theatre, 

Badu Sports

Badu Sports delivers our PE provision across the school. They also contribute to community events and hold holiday clubs in our school. 

ABBA Voyage

Gainsborough kitchen team cook for ABBA voyage management hospitality. This brings benefits in accessing ticket information and education packages. 

Thingy Cafe

Gainsborough Primary School bakes bread weekly for Thingy Cafe. We also collect their coffee grounds to use in our composter! 

ABC

A Breaking Convention Dance College at Sadlers Wells East. Gainsborough pupils in Year 6 work alongside the college students to produce an interpretation of the year 6 text in the Autumn term. The children love working with the young people and really benefit from seeing their reading and writing text brought to life through dance. 

St Mary of Eton 

St Mary of Eton works with Gainsborough to enrich the RE curriculum. We also perform annual Nativity services at St Mary of Eton and work closely with Reverend Sue. 

Hackney on Ice 

Hackney on Ice choice Gainsborough Primary School for their pilot ice hockey programme for children.
