Applications
Parents are encouraged to contact the admissions team directly via email at: admissions@gainsborough.hackney.sch.uk. You can also pop into the main school office or Children’s Centre where staff can arrange a meeting with the Preschool Manager to discuss admissions requirements and get more information on our provisions.
Places are offered subject to availability, and once confirmed, we will guide families through registration and settling-in arrangements to ensure a smooth start for every child.
Our Provision

Preschool Information
Hatchlings (9 months to 23 months)
We offer all year round care in our Hatchlings provision from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 48 weeks of the year.
We are happy to be able to offer the governments working families funding during term-time weeks. For those wishing to attend for the additional holiday weeks, fees will be charged at the fully non-funded preschool weekly rates.
Ducklings (24 months to 36 months)
We offer term-time only provision from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks of the year in a combination of morning, afternoon, full-time and wraparound attendance models.
We also offer an EYFS camp during school holiday periods to ensure that our provision runs in line with the Hatchlings all year round offer.
